Correct filter housing?
#1
Hi all.

Wanna try and get my fuel filter changed and fpr cleaned out next weekend. Need to get new seals for the fpr? I presume from peugeot. Also need a new bosch filter presumably from peugeot as well?

Finally I need to get a new housing as I don't think I can put much more force on undoing mine without cracking the plastic unfortunatly :/

Does this look like the right one for our cars?

This one?

Thanks Big Grin
Jack

Ahh dammit I was looking at the one for the siemens fuel system haha. Good job I asked Tongue Cheers Smile I just thought it may have been a slight design change as the one I have are known to be a pain haha

The one in the 1st post isn't just for siemens, I have it on my DW10 206 and seen it on a C5 DW12

Would say its just a newer design of housing

(just saying ThumbsUp )

my 2p'th tip,
rather than using a big spanner to undo the top, I use a webbing strap-wrench.
once it's pulled tight against the cap, it rotates fairly well.
likewise for doing up again.
It goes, it stops (as reqd). Makeup

Ahhh sorry C2K I hadn't seen that reply before I bought one off eBay. Done the job tbf.  And yeah it was just not budging.  Eventually did it with a spanner but I did it in the vice and didn't care if I broke it as I already had a replacement haha.
