Central locking help
#1
Hi everybody.
I have a 1999 306 hdi and when I bought it it came with one key which has no buttons. But the boot lid has no key hole and it is the original boot lid as it has the dealer sticker still on it. I can only open it from the inside because of the broken mechanism. But if the mechanism worked how would it lock. Should it have central locking I am really confused.
Any help would be fab

Hi I have the same car all phase2/3 have remote central locking. When you bored your car there should have been given 2 keys. I'm thinking they're given you the spare key because the main key has 2 buttons. I've found the key you need on eBay for you 251999096160 if you get it take it to key shop they can cut and check it for you and then you can program it your self by searching reprogramming key on Google cheap opinion or you can go to your Peugeot dealership they can order you a pre programmed key but can cost up to £200. As for your boot should lock when you lock driver door and you should here the fuel cap lock.
