hello,
I'm from Brazil and would like to participate in the Forum.
I have a 306 Rallye 1999 already with some modifications.
I would like to present the project at all.
Sorry my bad English.
Here is a picture of my 306.

Hello and welcome.
I didn't realise they made the rallye in any other country other than the UK.

Thanks,
In fact we have several Rallye in Brazil.
However the engine of Rallye here in Brazil is not the dreamed XURS 2.0 16V.
In Brazil the Rallye came with the 1.8 16V engine XU7.
So do full swap for the 2.0 16V or a partial swap using some XURS parts in XU7.
If allowed, I would like to open a topic in the project sector to show the modifications we chose to do in XU7.
But most of the 306 in Brazil are already in precarious state.
306 Brazil's best preserved are on 306BR forum that I participate.

Some people here would think the 2.8 was the engine we should of had in theRallye. not me though, I like 167bhp
Oh and if you are planning on keeping the 1.8 look at SRowell's project 1.8, it runs ITBs and Jenveys.

Yes, I will keep 1.8
Today it is already with the 306 GTI (2.0 16V 167bhp) exhaust manifold.
I also have already installed the Camshafts the 306 GTI (2.0 16V 167bhp)
I'm using an air filter K & N inbox.

XU10J4RS (167bhp) inlet manifold is also a VERY good upgrade. I have one I'd sell but the postage would be extortionate.

Welcome Car looks great!
In my opinion, the 1.8 is the engine the rallye should have! If you want more power out of it, the ECU is the weak link. It doesn't adapt to change very well. I would put it on aftermarket management and then add your camshaft, add GTi manifolds (inlet and exhaust) and open up the inlet ports in the head. Should see A LOT more power that way

I think I was not clear.
I already have installed the exhaust manifold XU10J4RS.
I bought mine in UK.
In Brazil they sold the Xsara VTS with XU10J4RS.
I bought the Camshafts of a VTS.

I think Dum Dum was trying to say you need to add the inlet manifold from the XU10J4RS as well!

I think we are loosing something in translation somewhere here. Which manifold did you fit (in English top picture is Inlet and bottom picture is Exhaust). Both will add BHP.

Yeah, sorry my english.
Here the picture of what was installed in my car.
Also installed the camshafts of XU10J4RS.
I imagine that with these changes the car has a 140 BHP.
