FLASHING HEAD LIGHTS WHEN DOOR IS OPENED/CLOSED

I searched this on this forum and found nothing, I found the answer on "another" forum so i thought id throw up a thread so that other people dont have to go else where to find the answer,


So some times when you disconect the battery of the 306 and reconnect it, the alarm tends to throw a fit. Every time you open the door some times this will make the alarm will go off without the siren.

All you have to do is turn the ignition on and push the little reset button just below the ignition on the cowling.

That should be job done simples Big Grin

Had this problem on my gti after i locked the doors with the key fob. And the battery went flat in the key fob. so i had to open the doors useing the key put new batterys in the fob locked and unlocked the car fixed the problem Smile
