Speedo dip/ Power loss
#1
Just had something weird happen. Driving at a steady 40 and there felt like there was a very slight loss of power, I glanced down and just caught the speedo needle dipping to zero and back again.

Looming crank sensor issue? I have no manual to see where the speedo gets it's signal from.

Earth connections to chassis from the engine at a guess, that's a classic for making the speedo go funny - the speedo is driven off the diff, rather than anything to do with the crank sensor.

Its your speedo sensor on the gearbox failing.

Just to echo the above, its your VSS. Quite a common fault and not that expensive to sort Smile
