IS there anywhere I can get hold of new high quality drive shafts? Q drive are all I can find and from what I've heard they are not the best.

J and r CV joints do them for £70 the pair posted. Some people seem to have issues with them but I've user them a few times without issue.

Problem is most of the second hand ones will have 100k plus on them or be J&R shafts already, so many aswel buy from them directly

I've used shaftec, seem pretty good to me. Only thing was a cv boot did die within six months, tbf though the joint is still fine a year later.

I have fitted a J & R one to the drivers side on my hdi and that was about 25k ago and it's been fine, was pretty cheap iirc, also fitted a drivers side one to the Mrs's Saxo not that long ago and that has been fine also.

Mister Auto sell SKF branded shafts. Yet to fit the short one to my HDi, but a few on 205Drivers have used them with little issue.
