Would this sort of thing be a suitable connector for live, earth and feed to the amp, they do a 3 pin one too

Yeah, the earth and live are fat but the feed is ultra ultra skinny, cheers Niall, Piggy, I will devour the car audio sites now looking for the part I want.

Look for a vibe quick release plug, its the same as what nial was on about just easier to find due to brand name,

I saw one of these Vibe plugs in Halfords recently in their clearance bin, no money on me at the time, Gutted!
