Berlingo turbo
#1
Hi guys posted already but not introduced myself, I live in the west Midlands here for lots of help as most people on the berlingo forum are useless. A lot more knowledgeable people on here who get there hands stuck in Smile which I love to do.

Swapping my standard 1.9d for a 306 1.9d turbo becoming a bit of a pain at the moment as I can't get a engine crane doing my head in. If you live in the west mids and have one I could borrow it would greatly appreciated lol. On a budget and everyone wants so much money to hire one and they won't even drop it off!

Oh well hope I can help some of you after I've finished the conversion I'm sure you'll be helping me more thou lol.

Welcome to the gang!!

Have you tried HSS hire for an engine crane? Sometimes its cheaper to higher a engine crane than to purchase one.

Yeah I tried them they want £170 deposit the 54 for the first day then I think it was 30 a day after that, think I may need it a couple of days so will end up the same price as buying one stupid

Welcome to the forum. I've got a Peugeot Partner and intend doing the same conversion you are doing/going to do.
Please keep us informed of progress and any issues you come across.
What age is your Berlingo? Mine's a 2001(51) mk1.

Will

I've seen your threads now and can see yours is a mk2 ;-)

Great little workhorses, mines put up with 4 years/over 60k of abuse and neglect yet it still chugs on faithfully. That said I'm contemplating going to the dark side with a caddy now.
