slow hdi
#1
My hdi has felt underpowered for awhile now,

Have changed MAF
Serviced, oil, filter and diesel filter
Egr blanked at inlet
Boosting at 13psi until around 3500rpm drops to around 10/11
Injectors tapping worse and worse.

Would injectors cause the power loss?
Would a leak off test be any use?

Want to get it fixed before i go stage1

Has it always felt slow or suddenly became slow?
Could of just got used to the power therefore giving you the feeling of it being slow/slower

Haha, its going stage1 when i have it sorted,

Had more power before, power came back one day when boost gauge pipe came off inlet,

Did you sort this?

I don't understand why the power would come back when the pipe to the boost gauge came off, that should have made it worse?

My hatchback back is feeling really slow at the moment.

i changed the injectors last night, seems better as mine were tapping like crazy.

im just going to remap it now as i cant seem to find whats making it slow

it did 30-60 in 8 seconds, dont know if thats good or not Smile

Have you checked to see if any of the brakes are dragging?

Is the TPS turning all the way when you press the throttle? Is there a boost leak at the turbo outlet?

i adjusted the throttle cable so thats fine,
there seems to be a fair bit of oil around the turbo pipes, but oil level not dropping on dipstick.
