See if you can work out what makes it happen, what makes it worse and how you can stop it, will help us work out what's happening.

Well on the way to work it wasnt doing the grinding noise but it was humming, maybe wheel bearings?

Where is the noise coming from?

may be wet where you are now, any difference when wet??
brakes ok and not "pulling"....... noise changes when brakes applied?? noise changes when car gently ( and safely ) weave from side to side?? noise lessens when weaving to the right and increases when weaving to the left?? visual check underneath all ok?? can you shake the wheel and its got play when car is on the deck?? raise car on that side and check.......check pads also.....any road work where you are??

You should be able to hear/feel a rough wheel bearing if you jack the car up on that corner and shake/spin the wheel.
