Lol meh straight 6 cummins ftw > powerstroke, altho dont get me wrong they are a win motor also!

Cummins will rev, 5-6krpm @1200hp all day long with studs and balance.

Thanks dude Big Grin had a short wheel base isuzu trooper duty 3.1TD too!

The L200 was shockingly shit off road but it didnt have the massive knobbly tyres like the defender and also no difflock and cart springs means theyre ok for adverse weather road driving but got proper off roading you need a landrover Wink

Cummins 6bt is a bit big for the ranger. Better off with the 4. Can still get more than enough power.

Pajero/Early l200. 4D56 2.5 or 4M40 2.8.

Run on veg, have a max fuel screw and LDA. Copy of the Bosch VE basically.
Can be tuned same as a 306.

They don't go much "faster" though, just make more noise and smoke.
