That was only in the Japanese market cars tho, apparently those engines had a red cam-cover as well, the one in that pug is black.

At best it's a 197bhp engine, probably running abit less now anyway with the air filter right next to the hot exhaust.

My uk accord type r had a ha22a they 2 phases mine beeing the later with a factory mapped ecu to run a 99 ron.which give it apparently the extra bhp so say honda.

Taking a good-handling FWD car and dumping a heavy engine and gearbox in the back is going to really upset the chassis - just see the phase 1 Clio V6 for example. I doubt this had anywhere near the same amount of chassis development either!

It would be interesting to drive but I'd rather pump money into a turbo kit for the standard engine, minimal weight gain for lots more than standard power...
