This years top gear Christmas special looks like a must watch. Richard Hammond drives something that is badged as a Peugeot 306 for 1600 miles through Patagonia.
BBC Two on December 27 starting at 8:30 p.m. and December 28 at 8 p.m. The trailer is on the Top Gear Facebook page.

Thought this was gonna be the one with Pebbles' Rallye...I'm pretty sure that car isn't a 306.

Not sure how it came to be but I believe a number of Peugeots better efforts from back in the day (205 GTi, 306 rallye, 106 rallye etc) were used for a static display in one of the episodes. Presumably for one of their intros to a review of the 208 gti or something along those lines

If by the people there being wankers you mean Clarkson, when he was there, then yeah, probably.
I'm pretty sure it's not okay to just call Argentinians wankers.

People take Clarkson far too seriously tbh...
As for Pebbles' Rallye, there was a whole thread about it a couple of months ago lol, can't believe you've all forgot already.

used to enjoy watching top gear, now its far too stupid to bother with... I would rather watch some of the more sensible online motoring channels...

Pretty standard stuff. A small group of Argentinians took it that number plates that had nothing to do with anything were offensive and attacked the 3 hosts and the film crew. Id call that small group wankers but you can't tar all of them with the same brush.

Argentina is a f*cking right old mess now, there's no wonder they got pissed off easily.
It's not our fault their economy is utterly f*cked and their government a bunch of useless tossers.

Argentinians seem to be quite proficient at misinterpreting situations, i mean number plates offensive? Similar to their mistake in 1982 when they thought a little group of Islands were theirs. Silly sausages!

Funny thing is if they hadn't gone to war we'd probably have given the Islands back by now (ala Hong Kong) but now we'll keep em forever just to be stubborn haha
