EGR bypass

On the subject of head rebuilds, it does seem that this has been done to death but am I better off bypassing the EGR completely while the heads off? I can get the blanking kit off ebay and totally do away with the pipe work etc. it will probably make the rebuild easier.

Yeah get rid of the lot and blank it off. I usually cut the flange off the EGR actuator and use it to secure the blank.
