Even wing nuts would be better than just m6 nuts James?

So you either can get nut covers...

What i think I might do is get some M6 bolts and make something up that looks a bit funky...

Spacers to raise the cover up

some funky decorative countersunk washers preferably without jap stuff all over them.

and whatever length of M6 bolt is needed to go through it all. Probably in black.

What is the length of the bobbin piggy? Need to work out how long the bolts need to be.

Is there anything which has a female thread and a male thread? So like the bobbin but allows a bolt to be screwed into the top of bobbin some kind of bolt extender? like this...

Yeah but wingnuts come loose.

As Sam is looking at those would be better. Covers or something similar.

I still don't know what the bits in that picture are called. Volt extenders is all I've come up with...

If only Peugeot had thought of this and made some quick push-fit, twist-release clips...oh wait.... lol

Right. Still looking at a way of making it look tidy so i can use my bolts and finishing washers...

What we/I really want is a 20mm M/F M6 standoff like style 2 below.
