They were regually referred cats on older vehicles. Dpfs phrase is now used for modern ones that regen. Regardless they are the same thing.

no, they had cats fitted, but not the DPF

No, no 306 had a DPF.
Later XUDs and HDi's had cat's, just like a petrol. You're not allowed to remove those either though.  Can someone turn the pic though, or highlight the main point, I can't turn my desktop sideways...

I didnt mean they were the same thing in working prinicple. I meant it was the same thing in eyes of the mot test.

I think they only started putting cats on DTs in 97 maybe late 96, doubt you'd ever get done for a phase 1 with a decat, yet another reason for phase win
