cambelt is on! :D

So I got the cambelt on, Ive turned the engine by hand several times, and it lined and locked up fine. now problem I'm facing is the aux belt pully. It won't loosen up. Tightened the bolt at the bottom to make the belt looser. But having problems. The bolt in the centre lookes to be seized, will not turn properly, it turns with the mole grips, I'm just not sure how much its running by or how much is just slipping. Anyway, whats the best way to go at it? Mine looks quite old so could do with a rrplacement, just not now lol as need the car on the road tofay so haven't got.time to wait for parts

Any help appreciated

All 3 bolts on the aux pulley are seized how the hell do I unseize? Had the right size Allen key in there and I put so much force on it, it just bounced round. And almost rounded. I soaked in wd40 over night but hasn't loosened them in the slightest

What type of tensioner have you got? The one on my car has a big spring thing with bolts at each end.

You use allen key sockets with a decent ratchet?

Coz just little allen keys wont do it.

Try also holding 60/70% tension on it then give it one big sharp pull

Yep, also used Allen keys and a spanner for extension both Didnt work. Going to the local garage to see if I can borrow a decent extension. See if I can get some extra leverage somehow

leverage wont help if you've rounded them off, twat a torx bit in there and try again, get new bolts.

They are not rounded, yet. The Allen will still sit nicely in the hole.
I just can't for the life of me move them

What size bolts are they?
