So this week was mot time again. Failed tHe first test with a couple of small problems, no biggie. Sorted them, then came the emissions test that it super failed.
Turns out the cat was fecked.
New cat later and and a healthy course of terraclean has now made a co2 rating on idle and fast idle of 0.00.
Now thats a clean finish.
The terraclean seems to have really smoothed out the acceleration of the car and with any luck boosted bhp and gained me a few mpg.
So the old girl is road legal once again and nearly ready for december 1st track day at brands.

So christmas has arrived early and a new fg turnone cup seat has turned up. Looks really nice and as hoped has all the omp stickers all over it. Nice little money save for not having brand logos all over.
now to fit the bugger.

Nice! Nile blue is a cool colour isn't it. I wasn't sure when I picked up mine, but I'm warming to it! I bet Brands was fun!

Thanks, nile looks best under fluorescent light I think, petrol stations at night etc.
Great little track and so easy to learn as there are only 5 real corners.
Would recommend to anyone.

So the harness bar arrived. Tegiwa one. Looks like a real bit of kit and fits like a glove. Ignore the harness. Temporary one in place.

Gave her a wash

Ah don't say that. Looked a better option to welding in a bar to the arches.

So this weekend I have spent more money I dont have. Just ordered a 4 point sabelt lightweight harness and omp targa red steering wheel. So all I need now is a passenger seat, some carpet stuff to tidy the rear up somehow and make a cover for the stereo hole. Then that should be me for the season ahead.
and is there anyone here who has rolled their rear arches, if so with what and how easy was it? Found out at brands that the rears catch slightly under full load and had to do a make shift pull out by myself, now wanting to do it properly. Any advice greatly appreciated.

So the new and massive sabelt 4 point harness arrived. Looks like I need a longer eye bolt on the right hand side to go through the harness bar and drill the floor with a spreader plateon the left hand side. Other than that. WIN!

It's not designed as a harness holder, just as a way of adjusting the angle iso the correct height. Then use the mounting points as is. I thought to wrap it but the manufacturer said do it this way.

So this morning I had a few spare moments and had some car carpet so the task of covering the all the uglys that had been left behind after stripping the car began.
The photo's dont really do it justice. I looks so much better than before.
Now all I need is to make some lightweight covers for the rear door area.
