Fire seal is right at the very bottom, just double up on them won't do it any harm Smile

Well I wasn't sure but my experienced mechanic guy came round and we just couldn't see them/get them out. Will this cause problems if they were in there to begin with?

Well doubled or not turned her over and there was a clunk! Then misfire. Was injector 4 so swapped it with 3 and it's purring now. Very strange.

I'm pretty sure there were no fire seals to begin with and it's ran like that on the bosch for 35-40000 miles till it injectors started leaking. Any way all good now! Cheers for tips lads.

I ended up splitting mine with a screwdriver and bending them out.

That's what happened in the end.

I remember a thread about shakey/knocking engine I did and couldn't get to the bottom of why it vibrated so much.

Well since the new seals and washers are in, along with new breather pipe, rocker gasket and a service the engine is so much smoother and nicer To drive.
Lack of fire seals may have been why...?
