Rs2000 alloys on 306

Evening all

Have been looking at some 15" rs2000 alloys recently just wondered if there gonna fit anyone had any experience with them?? Or how there going to look??

Need spacers 25mm iirc and they will need to alter the spigot ring diameter too

Its the internal diameter of the hole right in the middle of the wheel, sits on the lip in the middle of the hub

Piggy means the centre bore, for a 306 it's 65.1. As the Ford has a bigger centre bore (70mm IIRC) you need a spigot ring to reduce the centre bore to support the wheels on the hub.

Ford wheels have a smaller centre bore than pug so spigot rings would be no use , you would need hubcentric spacers to correct the offset (as Piggy said 25mm should be ok) and to go from the pug centre bore of 65.1mm down to the ford centre bore of 63.4mm.

Ford wheels are normally et 35-38 so you will most likely need 20mm spacers to get them to et15-18 hub centric spacers would be the best as said as the bore is also different

so 20mm wheel spacers and 70mm-65.1mm spigot rings will do the trick and sit them right?

So what you actually need is hubcentric ford adapters. Not only will they space it out and bolt correctly they will also have the correct centre bore size so you dont need to mess around with spigot rings. They are very expensive though so good luck!

When I fitted ford wheels, I used 25mm bolt to hub spacers, had the 65.1 inner bore and the 70mm external bore

What ford wheels were they ? Were they genuine ford alloys, or aftermarket ford fitment alloys?

So geunuine ford rs2000 alloys, the centre bore of those will be 63.4mm, so you would need some thing like this ideally, but as mentioned above it will work out quite expensive by the time you buy 4 and longer bolts. As these will space the wheels out to the correct offset, the inner centre bore is 65.1mm so will fit on the peugeot hub, and the outer centre bore where the Ford wheel will sit is 63.4mm so correct, If you got 70mm ones then the Ford wheel wouldn't physically fit on them.

These are just an example there are many other ones out there:

I used normal peugeot 20mm spacers, and warped a bit of that steel banding strip normally found holding stuff on pallets, rolled it around the middle of the ford bore to take up the slack.

looking on the net it looks like you can buy correct bolts, but even still i would get some sort of stud convertion

That wouldnt work as the ford centre bore is smaller than the pug one ? pug being 65.1 and ford being 63.4
It would however if you were fitting pug wheels to a Ford as the centre bore is larger you would need to take up the slack.

So get hold of sed spacers and jobs done? Can't see any bolts for these kits just spacers any suggestions on where to get bolts??

What wheels were they ?maybe if they were after market ford 4x108 fitment wheels then they come with a larger centre boreas they will also fit other makes and you would need spigot rings . BUT the rs 2000 ford wheels the op is on about the centre bore is to small 63.4 mm and they won't physically fit on the Peugeot hub 65.1mm and adding material will make them smaller?

As tom said just fit pug wheels much easier and cheaper!
