I took ozone with me too buy a saxo vtr (just to sell on) agreed a deal, shook on it and handed the guy 70 quid (the full price) filled out the logbook and took the keys while i headed back to mine to fetch a trailer.

Went to pick it up later that evening, got there and the car was gone! Bloke wouldnt answer his phone or reply to texts... Driving around and very luckily zakk spotted it on a driveway a few streets away from where it was when i left it.

Text the guy to say never mind i had found the car and was taking it there and then. At which point he replied instantly saying he needed it to take his nan too hospital the following day (despite the fact it didnt move under its own steam )

So me being me hooked it up and f*cked off with my purchase. Sold it to my friend for 250 the next day.

Pics depict the entire conversation. If he had given me more warning rather than letting me return 4 hours later with a trailer.. I would of still taken the car. Clutch was completely gone and wouldnt drive at all so he would of had fun trying to take his elderly nan too hospital in it! it didnt even reverse off the driveway.

Love it. eBay is full of bell ends. Mate of mine went to buy a blue mondeo. Got there and he guy tried to sell him a red one (different spec, different engine, and older) for the same price saying he'd sold the blue one weeks ago and just never changed the listing. Was only a 1hr trip but still...
