Ive just changed my brakes on my dt to 283s and now there is a fair bit if travel in the pedal, is this just down to having a standard master cylinder?
Also they dont really seem that much better than the 247s how much of a difference should i be feeling?
Cheers

There will be more travel due to the dt having a smaller master cylinder, i found adjusting the rear brake shoes improved brake feel and made the gti calipers feel musch sharper on the dt

As above, will be the master cylinder giving the long travel. And obviously, keeping everything else adjusted correctly will benefit any brakes.

The longer travel gives a nice progression on the brakes though, handy on the non abs models. I fitted braided hoses on mine which helps a bit as it takes out most of the spongy feeling.

Personal preferance I suppose, but I hate a long pedal, would rather modulate the brakes through pedal pressure, less delay then.
