Depends doesn't it?

You don't just knock it up, you have almighty ballache mocking it up, trial fitting, adjusting, tacking, grinding, swearing ..etc ..etc until you end up with something that works.

If you're enterprising you then make a jig up and mass produce until that particular udder is milked bone dry.

+ cost of materials, fine if you've access to stuff, but even a flexi + some tight 90's are going to add to the cost.

Padge had his up for £300 and it did sell, although tbf I don't know what he ended up taking for it.

If you just want to bolt on a big vnt then I feel its priced fairly.

I'd just cnc mandrel bend all the tubes and laser all the flanges. Easy when you have the gear Wink and a reasonable boss.

Don't mean to sound like a doubting thomas, but even with a cnc mandrel bender (they go up to 64mm OD right?) and a laser cutter - you're still going to have to come up with some kind of design to program the machine no?

Or you have access to a 3d scanner too? Maybe buy this one to make your cad models up from, could be a good investment ...

Or get involved with the VW boys, people are happily paying £1k plus for manifolds to upgrade their turbos - got to be a better shout than us poor xud lot.

Bloody bargain this! Don't forget your not just buying a piece of pipe you are paying for the time (swearing) that went into its construction.
