306 - 205 Interchangability
#1
Ive had a search through the forum using the search function but i cant find what im looking for.....so i appologise if its been answered before..

All im looking to find out, is what if anything can be removed from my donor 306 and fitted on my 205 project, apart from the obvious engine and box.
Can the front subframe be fitted ect?
Thanks everyone!

Depends on the donor as to whether it's an "upgrade", but front brakes are same fitment between 306's and 205's (except for a 1.6 GTi which uses different offset hubs/disks).

Wheels are same fitment and offset for a given diameter, although tires are a slightly taller profile on a 306.

Plenty of smaller bits that are interchangeable between the cars, but equally, plenty of bits that aren't or that do interchange but aren't quite right (eg 306 front hubs give positive camber on a 205)

My 205 is like a frankenstein car with bits of various 205's, 309's, 306's, Xsara's, ZX's, C5's etc on it - originality for the concours lot it is must certainly not lol
