What an epic day
Went out today and did two ring laps back to back on road tyres
11.22 minutes first lap 11.10 second lap both dry laps first time out with no prep on the xbox
I'm happy with that

Tomorrow if it's dry I'm out on competition tyres

One in our group has had a bad day!
His car won't be returning to the UK
He also has a rather large bill from the track support team at the ring
Every one in the car is safe and well despite air bags deployment and 32mtrs of barrier needing replacement

Ouch !! at least they are all safe and well. Did they have insurance?
My mate had a similar experience a few years back when his wheel came off, don't they charge by the metre for the barrier and then for the saftey car as well ? then to top it all off my mate wrote the hire car off on the way home aswell Itwasntme.

Ouch that's not going to be cheap.

Yeah they charge by the meter and that's a fair amount plus don't they charge for closure time?

Closure time, quite a few euros for the recovery to the car park and charge for any repairs. Iirc it's something like 500 euros just for recovery off the ring.

Glad everyone is OK. It wasn't that golf that has been all over you facebook today was it? So sad that someones pride and joy isn't coming home, must be like a family member dying on holiday.

The bill from the ring will be f*cking huge, would be cheaper if they had gold plated armco.

Been a very sunny day today being a Saturday it's been very busy at the ring
Lots of nice cars and very little track Time due to the ring being closed due to safety
I got an early ride out with Jimmy boy nice fast clean low 10 minute lap Smile
Not long after it was shut then for most of the day
I did get a dry run in mine on race tyres
Had to take to the grass to avoid a wrecked audio tt but once clear I had an epic lap
Race tyres are the dogs dangles car is like on rails around the corners

One more full day left here and one more ring run left in the pocket
Time has gone to quick
