i used ECP once, and they got it wrong, i always go to gsf. there is one round the corner from where i used to live, and when i was changing the engine in my car and getting it mot ready, i was in there everyday for a few weeks. first name basis, and out of all that, only had one wrong part.
rate gsf to the nth degree, so good

Gsf gave the wrong gearbox seal so I lost most of my expensive gb oil! Have had several wrong parts from them!
Jayar have sent the wrong parts to college a few times so we can't complete tasks in the time we have.

I and my local.garage both use Ecp as they are best round here! Smile

Phil the balljoint was your fault, should have measured it before you fitted it

It should be fairly obvious when it's like putting your dick into Connors bum... Very sloppy, not a tight fit and generally a ballache...

Nah, because they do it on registration rather than VIN/RPO they get it wrong all the time, because a car could be made in 1995, but not actually registered until 1997 if it just sits there... Therefore it gets horribly confusing... That's why you see P plated phase 2s and T plated HDis and DTs, from that crossover point, my car was MADE in October 1996, not first registered until April 1997... Making it actually a VERY early ph2...
