For sale is my phase 1 Citroen Xsara X.
- 12 months MOT (7/04/2015)
- over 5 months TAX (31/08/2014)
- 1.4 litre so good on fuel
- low mileage for year
- low owners
The car is in very good condition and drives well, and is an ideal car for a small family as it is very cheap to run, has a reasonable boot, and is 5 door. The car handles spot on, steering feels good and positive and just in general is a decent motor.
It does have the expected few dints and scratches of a car this age but It is very solid, has no rust, and has low mileage for year also (94,000).
The only bad points are that the key needs a new battery fitting, and the central locking motor on the drivers side is a little noisy when locking/unlocking.
The car is in daily use and will continue to do so until sold so expect the mileage to creep up slightly. It has just passed an MOT with flying colours and is ready to drive away.
In the past 6 months it has had new:
- cooling fan switch
- track control arms
- track control arm ball joints
- new exhaust
the car also looks to have had uprated front speakers by a former owner but other than that is completely original and includes the original log book with radio code etc.
Only reason I am selling this car is the need for a larger diesel due to increased motorway mileage.
I do have the v5, and some past history. I have both keys too.
