Yea, so it's bank holiday.
Where are the poor souls who have to work this long weekend? Please identify yourselves so us lazy bastards can all have a good laugh at your expense!
So these last few weeks have been absolutely manic at work. I've never been busier. Fortunately, this hasn't gone unnoticed and I've been given a payrise as a result! Yippee!
However payday is next week. This long weekend sees my bank balance at -£329 with no more overdraft allowance. Bugger.
So, time to start borrowing the money off her indoors!
Today - finish work at 5. Maybe early if we can get away with it. Go home, go for the 5k run I should have done yesterday but didn't. Spend evening chilling with Mrs, watch a movie.
Bank Holiday Friday - Up early, finally sourced a front bumper in better condition than my own for the Pug. One problem, it's an hour away. Said I'd take the family to Cambridge on the way back but this gives me two issues-
1. Can I fit a front bumper, child seat and buggy all in my 306 at once?
2. Where the hell can I park in Cambridge that doesn't cost the earth?
Mrs is then working in the evening for a couple of hours on emergency pay so I get to be responsible daddy nr. 1.
Saturday - Another early start, Mrs has work between 11-1 and 3-5, so going to be a busy day but a tiring one. Nothing else planned for then, but she could buy lunch or something...
Sunday - Might take the family to a local working farm to see the animals and do easter-related stuffs. Family gathering in the afternoon for a roast dinner after.
Bank Holiday Monday - nothing planned, I would set about fitting my nice shiny bumper but I think the Mrs might murder me if I do. Perhaps another outing somewhere if the weather is still nice.
Over to you...
Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.
