Fmic set up

Would it be possible to create a fmic set up using longer sections of silicone hose?

It's got to be easier routing nice bendy bits and hard pipe in small sections when needed.
Never seen anyone do this though so I assume it's a bad idea?

It's not that bendy really, use it where you want, I wouldn't think it's a problem, not exactly cheap though Smile

Yeah lengths of silicone like that aren't all that bendy. They bend a bit then just kink.

Plus remember that when you come on boost, thats all going to try and straighten out. Hence why people use SS/Aluminium piping Smile

Personally if on a budget either:

A) Buy 2 meters of straight 2"/2.25" aluminium then figure out what silicone bends you need and buy them separately.
B) Buy a universal FMIC kit, use all of what you can then buy any little extra silicone bends that might help.

I bought 2 incomplete kits to make a whole. Laid it all out the other day and still thought I needed some more. It was just an idea. I didn't think about how it would move about when pushing 30psi through it. Maybe hard pipe is the answer.
