Think my engine mounts are on their way out, symptoms are; knocking at low speed (thought this was ball joints and antiroll bar bushes, changed them and problem still occurs), there's lots of movement in the gear stick when in gear and any speed (vibrates considerably), knocking when changing gear which I thought could possibly be clutch but unsure and I can feel vibrations through the accelerator pedal at 40mph+
any help would be appreciated guys!

get a bar in by the side of the mount and give it a lever, you should be able to tell . .

check for worn driveshafts too, see if there is any play in them - can cause the gearstick to bounce around
