First car was a Mk2 Fiesta Ghia but that never went on the road under my ownership. So first proper car was a 106 1.0 Key Largo. Most fun but terrible car I've ever had!

I passed my test about a month ago, my current/first car is a 306 1.9td meridian, strangely cheap to insure, my mate has a 2001 1.0l corsa and he has a years no claims, lives literally down the road and his insurance isnt even 100 quid cheaper - goes to show not about the engine size! The best part is it wipes the floor with any of my mates little 1.2 clios and corsas and its yet to be tuned..... Wink

Drove my dads 1.6 astra estate for a while. Then i could afford my own car so i got my old 306, diablo dturb with 180k. Got it to 202k and then hit a curb, couldnt be bothered with the repair so took what i could off it and scrapped it. Got the estate now.

My first CAR was a Fiat Uno 1.0 with a 4-speed box, but the first vehicle I actually drove on the road was a mk4 Escort van my uncle gave me to get me around looking for a car because he was going to scrap it for £50, ran it for 3 months until the MOT ran out and then cubed it because it was terminally rotten.

My first car is the one I have now, Peugeot 306 1.9 XTDT. The criteria for choosing it was:

Tuneability
Reliability
Economy
Cheap insurance

It ticked all the boxes and I bought it for the pricely sum of £620 back in april '09 with 128k on the clock. Now just coming up to 160k and had a lot of money spent on it over the years and I have learnt a lot about mechanics Smile It has been a great car, couldn't have asked for a better experience. Oh yeah and in winter 2010 I crashed it and bent the chassis leg and then had it straightened back out and it was as good as new Smile
