My radio is asking for the code I've got the code but I'm not sure how you get letters on the radio it's the original CD player. The code is 2 numbers and 2 letters.

That's not the code for the radio, that is the code for the ECU for when you what to add more keys to the immobiliser .

The code for the radio should be four numbers.

Below is how to work out the code.

Quote:This method worked for me!

The label on the radio states

C6CBK0094099
C70000003214

Take the 3214

Add 1 to the first digit (1+3) = 4
Add 2 to the second digit (2+2) = 4
Add 3 to the third digit (3+1) = 4
Add 4 to the fourth digit (4+4) = 8

As you can only enter numbers 1 to 6 on the radio, for any numbers greater than 6, subtract 6 therefore the code to enter is 4442

Taken from the 6 forum.

That doesn't work with the ph3 Clarion unit unfortunately Dee. I've tried it on a few and had no luck.

If you look through the handbook and servicebook you'll probably find the code though, should be 4 numbers as above.

That's strange it's worked on all the ones I've tried it on.

Are you guys using the numbers off the right label?

No idea, honestly can't remember now. Sure it started CL instead of just C* though.

The CL number is the serial number and won't work.

Some of the label do come off and get lost. I've seen a few on ebay like that.
