My freind came over the workshop last night to collect a car battery, following me back to the main road I suddenly her lights behind me so waited a minute then decided to turn around and look.
Came around the corner to see this

[attachment=14013]
[attachment=14014]
[attachment=14015]
She's come around the corner, then hit ice on the exit which lost the rear end and slipped into a fence and brick wall at about 30mph if that
So utterly destroyed 80k previously immaculate cherry Dturbo :'(

It's got to be an insurance job so she'll get a courtesy car from them for now. The guys who's house it was is an utter cock, immediately came out asking for insurance details , tried asking him how much cash would cover the damage to the fence and wall but he wasn't having any of it
Told Steph to go take some pictures this morning of the damage before he has a chance to do anything about it and send those to insurance
I called the police to let them know there had been a road traffic accident with damage to property and that there was debris all over the road but they didn't want to know. As long as there's no one injured they won't send anyone out
But everyone is ok and the only injury was me shutting my hand in the door moving the car off the road flol

definitely a write off, the sill and quarter panel have a big V shape dent , the inner wing and front crossmember are both basically in the engine now.
Rear beam took a fairly big wack and is now rocking the extreme positive camber look.
But yeah, every panel is bent apart from the drivers side rear quarter panel and bootlid.
It hit the wall at a 45 degree angle So the front took most of it then the rear smacked the fence post I think

As I said on FB, Glad Steph is OK. She really has done a proper job of that is there isn't a straight panel left on it.

A real shame but at least the damage is all metal and property and nobody was seriously hurt.
This post is an artistic work of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted above as fact.

A strong wind would have blew that fence down.
Nice new fence for the owner at your mates expense.

It's some ancient vauxhall, can't remember the model. Notice the strike marks from bricks hitting it.
I get the impression this guy is going to try and ra*e the insurance, saying he needs the car respraying etc when it's just been rattle canned matt black.
I've got the local bodyshop guys to go out and give me a quote on just repairing the marks from bricks, it's been off the road for years on his front lawn so I bet it's rotten. Need to make sure insurance don't end up paying for his car to be rebuilt basically

I'd be pissed off if someone had gone through my wall too but if they were being apologetic about it and offering to pay up then no excuse to be a dick

Oh dear
She did do a good job on that wall! doubt the old vauxhall is insured so f*ck all will happen about it tbh they'll base it on scrap value at the most.
I would be more worried if he claims for a new ride on mower! we are westwood dealers where i work and theyre very expensive!!
