So just thought I'd ask what's the best mods you can do to a 1.4 8V? Want about 100BHP it's running 75BHP now so any ideas? I've already got a cone air filter with a cold air pipe to it so that's been done (+0.01BHP)

engine swap? . . . seriously though it's not impossible but way cheaper to swap engine or car . .
Phase 1 D-Turdo, K14@24 psi, De-cat, meaty backbox, Bosch pump, grinded LDA pin, duel air fed K&N =133.7bhp & 188ft/lbs

It cost me about 4-50 quid to get up to that with mine
Custom roll cages/shiny suspension bits/general fabrication work undertaken, PM me.
Top engine mount repair/reinforcement/chocking for cracked chassis and high powered cars, drive in, drive out, 2 hour turnaround.

as said, its pretty much pointless, unless your prepared to replace cams etc. stick a big exhaust and cone filter on, will feel like your going faster because the car is louder just save you for a gti6 or xsi lump
