I seem to recall that some S16s came with twin-optics that had a slightly yellow-tinted lens or glass?
Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone have any pictures of these lights?
Specifically which part of the lamp is yellow? Is it the glass or something on the inside?

With all the twin optics I've had I have never come across the yellow tint. I've had 3 sets off S16s

No they did originally come like that.
I *think* that a lot of S16s got single-optics, and those that came with twin-optics (probably an optional extra) got the yellow-lensed ones. Then when they introduced the Ph.1 '6 they all got clear twin-optics as standard.
This is what makes these yellowy ones fairly uncommon I think.
