306 side airbag light

Hi there guys, ive got a warning light on my dash its in the middle at the bottom, I beleive its for side airbags, its a 2000 ph3 hdi dturbo, am I right in thinking under the seats chop the plug and solder? Or is there something else I should be looking for??
