what turbos would people recommend ? what sorta gains from said turbo?
anything that will bolt straight on ?

only standard bolt straight on.
be a sheep and get a TD04, brilliant turbo, bang for book.

I think what these guys are trying to say have a search of the form first, there is many options to upgrade but nothing bolt on. Lots of different turbos you can go for if your handy with tools and fabricating adaptor plates, like....

There some of the more common ones. Best to research first then you will get an idea of what you want to use.

for the popularity and so many people have them second hand now after shitting conrods I would say td04 aswell... if I was starting out with a 306 would defo be the turbo I would get.... if I just wanted to put it on and be done modding.

I dont mean to sound like Piggy but all you have to do is look around here and theres a shit load of talk about turbos, you dont even need to look for it.
Doesnt even own a 306.
