It takes min 24hr for it to cure properly.

To be honest if I were you I would just wrap it in a flock lije material...as flock goes quite rigid...so likely that it would crack when refitting

I know it can be done, Ive seen it done too...but I cannot give any suggestions on keeping them clean!!

I am guna test a section...flock a bit of metal...tie to underside of car, then see how it copes to being cleaned and with what products

So long as the glue is a decent epoxy tye, try liberal amounts of Gtechniq I1 over it, or similar?
Custom roll cages/shiny suspension bits/general fabrication work undertaken, PM me.
Top engine mount repair/reinforcement/chocking for cracked chassis and high powered cars, drive in, drive out, 2 hour turnaround.

I can basically supply parts in any colour in this chart:

http://www.flocking.biz/flock/1mm%20Colour%20Chart.pdf

at extra cost at the mo, unless its black!

In time I will get stock of main colours, thus bringing price down. All depends how much I sell.

I would like a set of alloys flocked if the results are good from your test piece.
Why dont you flock the spare, stick it back on the in the under carrage and give it a week of driving and
See how it reacts to cleaning , just a thought.
