This is f*cking ridiculous, 30bhp!!!
think we need to get everyone who reads this thread to report this to ebay, This is just blatant robbery
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Performance-TU...20d9c175b8
sent them this lol
Hi,
I have a peugeot 306 1996 1.9TD, Will this work on this engine/ECU? and will it give around the 30bhp increase claimed on the Ad?
Thanks

I dunno, you can't get much more honest than showing the inside of the box.
If someone is still stupid enough to pay money for it then more fool them.

f*ck sake i hate these things. All they do is increase fuelling and destroy your engine. Should all be banned from ebay!

It's 'up to' 30bhp.... Just like 'up to' 20Meg Broadband lol.
Tbh I don't see what's wrong with it, obviously I wouldn't buy/fit one, but the ad is fairly clear. No different to fuel magnets or electric superchargers. If people weren't daft enough to buy them, there'd be no market for it.

Hello,
Please note that not all engines can have this mod fitted too and all wiring looms will differ which is why it has an extended
no quibble return and refund in full policy of 60 days not 7 days as required by ebay , gains will differ due to inbuilt tolerances/differences in engines.
Please check and see if it applies to your engine.
If you can locate the maf sensor or iat sensor then yes it will fit,
The maf is located on the thick air pipe that leads off the air intake housing
and will require testing with a simple voltmeter.
to test it do the following.
1:Turn ignition on but do not start the engine.
2:gently pull the plug with leads to remove it
3:check the voltages across the cables with a simple volt meter set on dc volts
4:just 1 pair will read around 5 volts
5:connect the red to this
6:connect the black to the other cable that you put the test lead on.
7:replace the plug
all done.
If you cannot replace with the mod in place then bare the correct wires back a little to connect.
If you get an ecu light come on then reset using the instructions.
If the mod fails you may need to snip the 5 volt cable that goes into the maf.the mod needs to remain connected to both cables , not the maf part of the cable that has been snipped.
The iat is usually located on the air filter housing or on the pipe just outside it
If you have the iat then pull of the leads and simply plug in.
Kind regards , trev

Yeah they are shit, but they can 'kinda' work. My tuning box gave me 10 bhp-25 ft/lbs more in last weeks rolling road meet and I get another 100 mile range out of a tankfull so its better than a kick to the bollocks.

Not really "plug and play" is it
Pete did you dyno, fit, then re-run to know the difference?

Bollocks can they.
This isn't even a tuning box, the guy has no idea what he's connecting it into.
Snipping wires to the MAF, disconnecting the IAT??
The guy is clueless.

Was it warmer on the second run Jamie? Using a different map if so, which is exactly how these boxes work lol, they fool the ECU into thinking its hotter than it is.
