erratic idle

Hi, any ideas on what could cause my car to rev up &down between 750rpm & 1000rpm? Would i be right in thinking it could be the TPS or MAF on its way out. It doesn't happen all the time just every now & then. Thanks

My china estate did this, I never did find the fault which isn't much use to you lol.

However I unplugged the MAF and it was still the same so I ruled that out.....

I'd give the tps a clean up and replace the maf

Giving the tps a clean is a good shout, make sure the connections and earth are in good condition too.
