My pedal makes a click noise and feel every now and again.
Is it the cable self adjusting or just getting caught on something do you think?
Seems to have a bit more play before the clutch starts to get hard when you press it since I first had it.

Yes.
It's likely f*cked and causing this problem. My clutch cable broke after mine did it.

Yep. It's meant to make the pedal easier, or something to that effect, but they get seized when old, or broken. There should be a thread floating about by cspellowe that has a load of info.

Mine done this then the release bearing shat itself
