Are the only parts to the Rf remote the key on the box above the ashtray? or is there a receiver in the roof?

yes all of the receiver is in the black box above the ashtray behind the clock

And is that the central locking controller to?

yes it controls the central locking it is also coded with the ECU to the chip in the key which works the Immo
and on some models it is the alarm module too

Got it half working, it makes the light dim and it will click 3 times when the bouton is pressed but it wont unlock/lock the doors
