as title cars in for its test wed had a quick look round carnt find any faults but i dont have a cat fitted its just straight through to the back box witch i have been told has no baffles in will this pass emission test? i have no smoke ect runs clean just smells of fuel a lil witch is expected not to sure what the laws are now days concerning cats any help much will be much appreciated thanks in advance
P.S hope this is the right place to post this Q

it wont pass the emissions test and also new m.o.t regs state a car that had a cat fitted must be there for m.o.t

Larry there's no it'll pass an emissions test with no cat I'm afraid. You might want to ring the garage to 'discuss your options' if you can't put a cat on before the MOT...
