engine problem please help

one minute car runs fine next minute sounds like shit lack of power car judders if you try accelerate almost as if you was in to high of a gear , then you pull over and revs r droping below idle then eml flashes thn switch off then back on cars fine for 5 mins or so then dos same again

Had the pulling away problem on my 1.4 when the gearbox shat itself but didn't get any warning lights just juddering and lots of noise

Is it juddering alot at idle? Could be a miss fire? Maybe a coil pack...

Not really on idle . On idle the revs are droping just before it stalls then back up and down thats when eml light flickers but then car runs fine again then does it all over again . Its defo engine related as when i lose power sounds like cars only fireing on 3 cylinders

Does sound like a dodgy coil pack. My Rallye had similar symptoms when my coil pack plug was loose, every time it worked loose it would juder, stall, sound shit

I am hopeing its somethink simple as does run sweet when its running fine . But when it does sound shit it sounds exactly like its fireing only on three cylinders pluged my obd in and come up with fault 03 searched on google and came up with ignition system / misfire. But thanks for help these forums come in handy
