My 306 phase 1 1.9 normally aspirated has done 190,000. I read they can cap another 50k. What has your Pug managed? Records will be broken!!!!

My nad 205 is/was on 213k, lived strong but shot it's driveshaft and gearbox. Engine WAS lovely - it's now running a 1.9DT engine.

This 306 is look warm driveshafts intact gaitors intact diff also looked dry. Engine sounds great, although maybe running too loud for indirect injection. Does this come with age?

how do you mean by loud? knocking? tapping?
These engines do tend to run very loud

Loud as in running loudly. No knocking/tapping evident..... Yet

the tolerances on xud engines are so large that they dont really suffer from wear like modern engines do, keep on top of the oil changes and you should easily see it go right around the clock at least a couple of times haha. challenge anyone?

I know of someone with a defender thats on just shy of 500,000 miles.....for the second time round!! Still on its original engine!

I'm on 304k. Wish I was using it as much as I use to. If I did I'd be up to 350k by now.

Had 2 merc sprinter, both with over 240000 and still going strong.
Theirs a club where you get certificates for every 500000. Theirs a old volvo on their with over 3.000.000 miles.

my 2nd 306 had 114, 200 genuine miles. It gave up at 114,600 miles with 45psi Big Grin
