Gear box from 1.9D

Hi from Bulgaria friends , it's my first post in this forum , i have a friend with Renault19 1.9 TD with gearbox from Renault19 1.9D it's pretty fast and it's very nice the box from 1.9D is shorter than 1.9TD , the question is that is the box from 1.9D 306 shorter than my Dturbo's box and can i fit it ot my car , is there any differences ? What do you think is it good idea ?

boxes are the same.

you could fit a gti6 box...but that would result in silly rpms at 70

Does anyone knows what are the ratios of the pug gear boxes ?

Yeah box is the same but a bit shorter, 70mph i think is at about 3400rpm
