Wiper issues
#1
This is for my beelingo vsn but wiring is pretty much the same as the 306. on my van it only operates the fronts as it has no rear wiper. it has 3 up speeds and 1 wipe washer jets by holding the stalk down. Similar to sedan 306s

wipers work only at full speed once at full speed smooth snd fine. I can sometimes knock it to the next speed but it will judder and go slow almost stopping and some cases actually stopping or not wirking, but I can still hear the relay clicking. When this happens the sometimes motor clicks and bangs like its lose but I think it is the motor juddering. I also have no washer jets or wipers by pulling down the stalk like it should.

I swoped the stalk off my old 306 the only difference being it has rear wiper function. Now this to also didnt work so can rule the stalk out as the problem. It only worked on full and pressing the stalk down for single wiper jet wash operation it didnt work either. If I pulled the stalk towards me on a 306 it operates washer jets and wipers it worked except didn't operate the wipers.

I cleaned up the contacts inside the Berlingo stalk but still having the same problem. Except I tried the stalk out of the cowling pulled it like I did on the 306 and it operated the washer jets but no wipers. It appears the cowling restricts the stalk to up and down movement only. So I can rule out the stalk now it's something else any ideas?

I was having some wiper issues and i just checked the plug going onto the wiper motor and there was a bit of corrosion on one of the pins. Gave it a scrub with a small wire brush and its been fine since.
Doesnt even own a 306.

I wouldn't mind betting the wiper motor is a similar design internally to the 306 one.......might be worth having a look at the contact strips inside it mate.
