my dials on the above car seam to have a mind of their own !
The speedo will work and then not when it wants to (no miles are recorded when the speedo is not working), the rev counter is the same....if you go over a bump one or both works or cuts out lol.
I thought it maybe the copper track on the back of the dials but after speaking to connor the other day..i'm not so sure now !
HELP....cully i am looking in your direction

Check the earth by the pedals, it's probably corroded or loose.

is the back of the clocks the flexy plastic type not a plug and socket?
maybe clean up the copper terminal tabs on the clocks

its a yellow and think blue plug that plugs in to the dials with thin plastic incorporating copper tracks on the back of the dials - hence my thinking of changing copper track thingy As the heater pipe is behind the dials ?
you forget cully my car is a ph1 and 2 collection of bits lol
