I know this was suggested on .net but wasn't bothered with because it would take work away from traders but seeing as we don't have traders I can't see the problem with it!
Thought it might be a good idea to get a list of members who are willing to help others with works on there cars.
This is not intended as a way for members to make money. It's purely as a way to help other members. If members want to thank you with money then that's their choice but I know I would be happy with a cup of coffee....

important Note
The work that is done by users does not carry a warranty. The whole point of this is enthusiasts helping others that might not be so confident in doing certain works them selfs. People who do these works professionally may offer warranties however most users do not have any insurances so if something does go wrong, this lies between you and the user helping you and does NOT involve the club.

No problems from me mate. When this was brought up before, the main issue was to do with traders paying to advertise, and staff not being able to limit people from agreeing work on the site and then charging for it off the site, which would mean they're making money for providing a service without having to pay for the privilege.

As we don't have any advertisements or traders on the site, I'd be happy for this to go ahead as it's definitely help out a lot of members and would hopefully help build the community spirit. If we get a large number of people on the list I'll also sticky this thread.

I thought this might be the case but did want to mention about their views over on .net just in case you had any other reasons why it was a bad idea. But seeing as you don't, get your names down guys! We all know peugeots are always broken haha
