Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM

hmmm it does look nice and that price is very good. The work that needs doing isnt exactly bad when its a nice car but then you can probably find one that doesnt have those problems for the price youd be paying to fix the problems on that one.

Id be in two minds about it really. The engine is good which is the main thing and its a bonus that the interior is mint... The clutch is the main problem really. If it was just the beam, a service and handbreak then itd be a winner.

why tom cant you inspect a car?

i went there with the intensions of buying this car
i can get a refrbed beam fitted for around £400

if he would of dropped another £100 i would off drove it away, but as is, no he was not prepared to move even, once i showed him the fecked beam and the rest of the faults

the MOT runs out in about a week if he still has it i might offer again
but nothing like what i did offer as its only worth its wieght then

No. Sad Well, I can on my own yeah, after buying I have a better look around and find all the faults..........but with the owner watching me my 'problem' takes over and I literally forget everything about cars! Rolleyes

And I wouldn't have had the balls to jack up the car to look underneath! lol

For a couple hundred extra you could get a much better example, by the time you've done the clutch, cat, ICV, rear beam you'd be well over a grand. Made the right decision I think.

depends how long you can wait for. I found my 6 in less than a day lol but i think i was lucky although i paid slightly over the odds for mine, it was perfect for me!

Check the previous mot history on line, see if there is many failures. Ive normally found that once a car starts to fail mots and get big lists of advisories, people never do the work to bring them back up to a good standard! If its a minter on the mot front, offer him less when the mot runs out. All that work on there would be pretty easy to do. Either that or you could pay us to come down and do it for you and put us up for the weekend. Always wanted to go to devon! Big Grin

As said, wise move mate.

That list is pretty substantial, if it was purely mechanical and you fancied getting your hands dirty then perhaps, but a possible HG and fooked paint. Nah.

Do you know the tester?

If not, the beams probably a fail, and about 10 advisories I reckon seeing as you're just putting it in without any work...

yup got trade price for an MOT at £30, so silly to put it on the ramps and pick over it, this way i get a safety list of todos.
so no not looked at the car since yesterday afternoon, just drove it to the MOT station and this one is quite strict

and the birds shit all over it last night
